Then he better hope the Venezuelans cooperate nicely with open arms about being taken over along with a puppet government set up for them. Or else the number of U. S. troops currently available in the area won't be enough. Venezuela is no small country in size. Probably their military leaders also need captured. It's either going to be easy or it's going to be hard.

I contacted my Venezuelan friend this morning. She is safe. She said people are happy but worried as they do not know what will happen.
Unless we have been somehow blinded with propaganda, there is no widespread happiness in Ukraine about the attack by Russia.
I think it is a reasonable argument to say we should not be swiping foreign leaders. But, this is apples and oranges to the attack on Ukraine.
I don't think any of us are privy to the intelligence to know.
