Trump 47

"Beforehand, according to an American official present, Mr. Hegseth dabbed his nose with powder from a small compact. 'Look commanding,' he told one aide. The handshake with the Ukrainian might be shown on Fox; the president might be watching." (Gift link)

What kind of powder are we talking about? Did he shotgun a couple of beers and start screaming afterwards?

NEW: President Trump cites people leaving Colorado "in droves" as a reason he vetoed a bipartisan clean drinking water project. Trump appears to rely on a single moving company's survey, which is contradicted by four similar surveys and government stats. https://www.9news.com/article/news/...-veto/73-6956361f-2cda-4394-b295-d090a471925d

And, there is it in black and white. The MAGA movement feels that if you vote against them, or even live in an area of the country that voted against them, your government should attack you:

The pipeline would serve largely rural, heavily Republican areas between Pueblo and Lamar in southeastern Colorado. The area is represented by Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, who slammed Trump’s veto.

Boebert told 9NEWS she supported other acts of retaliation against Colorado by Trump that impacted Democrat-majority areas like Denver and Boulder, but did not want to see her district’s citizens harmed.

"These are people who overwhelmingly voted for President Trump," Boebert said. "These are not the people who should be attacked.”

This is 100% the problem with the GOP and MAGA. They don't care until it affects them personally. And will actively cheer when it harms others they perceive as the enemy.

I'd like to hear more about Obama being the most divisive president in history, though.

Trump PAC threatens his own supporters with ‘punishment’ if they don’t send money fast enough

President Donald Trump escalated his fundraising rhetoric this week by warning his own supporters that they would be punished if they failed to send him money fast enough, a move that critics say blurs the line between political appeals and outright scam tactics as the president stares down a difficult midterm landscape.

In a fundraising email circulated Monday, Trump told supporters that Democrats would seize their so-called “tariff rebate checks” and hand the money to undocumented immigrants unless donors responded within an hour. “Troubles are BOILING OVER,” the message declared. “Dems want to send your check to illegals if you don’t respond in the next hour!”

The email framed an immediate donation as the only way to stop catastrophe. “Only a massive and immediate response will do,” it continued. “I need YOU to help me hit my end-of-year fundraising goal by midnight tomorrow or EVERYTHING we’ve worked so hard to accomplish could go BYE BYE.”

The language closely mirrors the mechanics of common financial scams: urgency, fear, and the promise of money that will vanish unless the recipient acts immediately. Cybersecurity experts have long warned consumers that such pressure is a hallmark of fraud, a point echoed by critics reacting to Trump’s message.

Just what is the billionaire president's problem that more money is needed in a hurry? To pay off people to keep morally sick tales a secret? He ought to have enough million$ to do that.

Our world has gone completely bat $hi! Crazy…why is MTG making sense?!
Why do “Christians” support one of the most corrupt, immoral, divisive, non empathetic POS to roam the earth?!

IMHO, as @milehighpoke has mentioned, they figure it out at the time the spear is pointed at them.

MTG finally understood toxic politics when the master of toxic politics started being toxic to her.

Now, she is disavowing it and returning to her isolationist, Christian positions without being a toxic Trumpster. Many of her positions I disagree with, but that is good, I don't expect all to agree with me. I just hope it lasts, and, even better, she causes others "christians" to stop letting him teabag them.

It's because their top no. 1 political issue is to ban abortion. No other president than Trump has done a better job in trying to do that for them. Their other big top issue to deeply obsess over is to be against transgenderism. Trump has done a good job covering that, too. So, no more trans everything for everybody. It will never end, though. They will feel a need before God to come up with a new minority to scapegoat for causing the ills of the world. Or try to make the old new again by going back to being against the homosexual agenda along with drag queens. Republicans can be very thankful that Christian Right people don't worry to death anywhere near as much over health care, infrastructure and the economy.

Other response regarding MTG is well put.
