Trump adopts racist theories in extraordinary Europe attack

link

Anyone else think there are some crazy people in the administrations staff who are taking advantage of a senile old man?

The more I see of Trump the more I wonder what's really going on in his head. And its obvious we have some terrible people in key roles (looking at you Stephen Miller). Im guessing they see him less as a leader and more as a useful tool to enact their personal agenda. But hes still enough with it to keep his narcissistic nature and unwilling to admit that maybe some of this stuff wasn't his idea in the first place.

1. He's been a racist POS his whole life
2. He's been a useful idiot for about 15 years now. Here's how he works:
  1. Suck up to him
  2. Convince him he wants to do what you want him to do
  3. Profit bigly
3. We're witnessing the president of our country sundowning, and it's scary.

1. Yep. But 20-30 years ago he was a smart POS. Now, Im not so sure. During his first term he seemed like he was with it for the most part and he was who he was. The Republicans were smart to put enough adults in the room to keep his worst impulses at bay but he ended up firing most of those people (probably because they wouldn't let him do what he wanted to do). After he lost, I think he snapped and we got Jan 6th followed by a 4 year temper tantrum. Now, I question how much hes with it alot and it seems to be getting worse. Everything about him aside hes an 80 year old man who didn't do a lot to take care of himself and its showing.

2. Yep. I don't know when it happened but right now all you have to do is talk to him and he will support whatever you want. There are a bunch of problems with this, but the biggest one I see is Putin completely understands this and that is where we are getting a bunch of our foreign policy decisions now. That's really scary.

3. Yep and this creates a bigger problem. I think after 2026 there will be the gumption to remove him from office but that means Vance will be the incumbent with the ability to run for 2 terms. Looking at his backers I don't think they have the interest of the American people at heart. They funded this hoping he would stumble his way to victory and its really working out for them. Economic issues in 2026 followed by a strong recovery by 2028 would convince voters that Trump messed things up but Vance has us back on track.

The Republicans for the most part during the Biden years lined up behind Trump. Those of us who decided we couldn’t stomach it left. Which means there are no more adults left to populate the room, only Trumpians, so there is nothing left to temper his worst impulses.

There does seem to be a growing number of Republicans that are starting to catch on, like my brother. Another of the guys that was in my brother’s living room that night in 2016 has told me he has changed his registration to independent.

The ones that are catching on are a little too late and I am guessing will fall in line behind Vance.

If we get Vance from 10 years ago (the one that was warning us about Trump) then that's cool. At one time he legitimately looked like a unifying Republican candidate and regardless of party someone who has the ability to reach across the aisle is someone we need. I could get behind that guy. Im afraid him falling in line torched that proposition and now that we see him backed by guys like Thiel then I question if he is the type of person we want leading a post Trump America.

If we get Vance vs Newsome then well at least neither of them are going to go completely off the rails but it will show we learned very little from the mistakes that got us the current administration.

I just cannot support Vance.
He’s loyally backed tRump at every turn, questioning nothing. He wears eyeliner like a woman, and I wouldn’t leave him alone with my sofa.🤮If that’s the choice I’d back Newsome.

That's what I mean. A decade ago he (wisely) hated the dude but he chose political power over his principles. Says alot about who he really is.

Hitler called for a small economical car that the masses could buy for cheap. That car he called "The People's Car" he personally approved of the design. We call it the Volkswagen Beetle today

Vance crossed the Rubicon when he sold his soul to Thiel, so there’s no turning back for him. Thiel owns him and will use him to further his vision. Palantir will only grow more powerful and the world will be so busy pitted against itself that it won’t care.

Just another example that we have a cult, there is grift involved for him and he’s just bonkers.

His base is eastern Pacific Northwest to the Great Lakes south to Texas and east to the gulf coast. How many of that base would ever drive a “tiny car”?

The only people that would buy a tiny car hate him and would never buy one just bc they hate him.

This is a failed vision from day 1.

Wow! That article is chilling
I got surprised at a lunch w a longtime friend a few weeks back when his older brother came along. He was a couple of years ahead of us and I hadn’t seen him in a while.

That article encapsulates my lunch. This guy is straight alt right and his comments on Europe were appalling. After 10 minutes of a rant I politely stopped him looked at my friend and said I appreciated lunch but I could not continue the conversation. I asked for a change but the brother couldn’t stand that I didn’t agree so he left. Win for all of us.

I just can’t believe there are intelligent people who have such dark hearts.

They’re everywhere. The ones that pi$$ me off the most are those that claim to be Christians. Shortest verse in the Bible seems apropos:Jesus wept.

In Oklahoma, people are thinking about changing registration to Republican to try to make sure the most extremist Republicans don't win in the primary election.

Instead, Trump should tell American car companies to get on the ball and start making electric cars as good or better than the Chinese ones. China has to import much of its oil, which probably explains why its electric cars are so good.

There are at least two of those idiotic Tesla trucks here in a town of 3500 where there may be 10 people who can afford one and I am one of them. You are vastly under-estimating the power of dipshittery. Slap the name Trump on the them and people will buy them just to "stick it to the libs".

Yes buying a small fuel efficient vehicle to stick it to the libs. Maybe Trump should come out with an updated more conventional vaccine policy so MAGA can get their shots to literally stick it to the libs.
