How is this not bigger news? How can even his advocates ignore letting obvious criminals out and jailing political opponents over nonsense. This is clear authoritarian/dictatorship stuff. How can this nation be so complacent. How have so many just fallen in line with this?

We are losing the rule of law. This isn't a new story in history. If it is allowed to continue, it does not end well.

Why be surprised? It was ignored last year when Trump placed his hand on his heart and said, "I'm not Christian". But once again bear in mind that we're living in Idiocracy, the movie.
