NEWS: Trump quietly signed an executive order this week giving Qatar Article 5 like protections, pledging any attack on Qatar would be treated as “a threat to the peace and security of the United States.”

This comes following the Israeli strike on Qatar.

This also comes after Qatar gifted Trump that big jet.

THE TRUMP ECONOMY: US private sector businesses LOST 32,000 jobs in September, far below the expected gain of 51,000, per payroll processor ADP.

August has been revised DOWN by 57,000, to -3,000.

CNBC: "Very disappointing. It was a weak number. This is private sector jobs for September. The total comes in negative 32,000. And that was a surprise because economists were looking for an increase of 51,000. Also, the revision was not good. August was revised down sharply, the month now showing negative 3,000 compared to the initial read of positive 54,000 ... the labor market is softening."

Legislation was passed in 2019 that guarantees backpay for shutdowns due to lapse in funding.

If the republicans were actually for improving the lives of people, they would push through residency based taxation and have nearly every overseas American's vote. Instead, they always look for ways to consolidate their base and exclude others.

Amazing with that plus the government shutdown today that the stock market is up somewhat, rather than down.
