Trump 47

NEWS: Trump seems to be implying he is going to sue ABC for bringing back Jimmy Kimmel. This is why you never bend the knee to a bully.

President Trump is the little man. I could tell it was difficult for Kimmel as it would be for anybody with a soul, but he did a very good job getting through his monologue, fighting back tears twice. But then as for his humorous moments, I'm not surprised he ended his show saying, "I think we will see you tomorrow".

At least President Bush didn't threaten to sue David Letterman for making him look like a clueless fool most nights for years.

KIMMEL: "This show is not important. What is important is that we get to live in a country that allows us to have a show like this… Trump might have to release the Epstein files to distract us from THIS now.”

John Thune gets really weird and awkward here when asked about Trump running for a third term. Can't even give a clear answer and just say no.

SORKIN: Let me read you what Trump wrote and you tell me if it sounds like coercion. 'I think we're gonna test ABC out. Last time I went after them they gave me $16m. This one sounds even more lucrative.'

JIM JORDAN: Well, I mean, I don't think you can say this is pressure from the govt because ABC put him back on

SORKIN: But that does sound pressure from the govt, right?

JORDAN: Um, I guess you can say maybe some

Interesting Republican congress people don't talk about doing it the right way by passing a constitutional amendment to repeal term limits for president. It only took a year to end prohibition. Of course, doing it that way doesn't have any chance, though but attempting to would look less stupid.
