Trump 47

President Trump doubled down Friday on his belief that broadcasters should potentially lose their licenses over negative coverage of him.

“They’ll take a great story and they’ll make it bad,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. “See, I think that’s really illegal.”

So, use your freedom to change the channel. If Fox News shows a bad poll then change it to Newsmax.

Those were the days when David Letterman put on brief videos most nights to make President Bush look like a clueless idiot. I was ashamed for my country that it had a president such as that. But Letterman never got in trouble for it. Maybe Trump needs to ask Bush how he took it.

Iowa farmers are in the field right now and they are losing money on every bushel of beans they harvest because of Trump and Hinson’s tariffs.

Farmers are mad:

Bill Maher fact-checks Trump on the lie that Biden let 25 million people in illegally.

Maher: "You said it was 10 million that came under Joe Biden."

Tom Homan: "Yeah."

Maher: "Trump in England said today it was 25."

Homan: "No, 25 illegal here in the United States."

Breaking news: The Environmental Protection Agency has ordered scientists in at least one of its research offices to immediately pause almost all research and stop publishing their studies.

Trump has called for Representative Ilhan Omar's impeachment over her commentary on Charlie Kirk, despite House members not be subject to impeachment.

Well, despite the tariffs raising prices, the assault on our constitutional freedoms, and our disgraceful treatment of immigrants and citizens that Bubba Ice thinks looks like an immigrant, at least he promised to um, er, hmmm tackle the debt.

What kind of mental gymnastics do you guys go through while claiming to support both Trump and the Constitution? Honestly.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. "

The full statement from former President Theodore Roosevelt:

"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or anyone else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about anyone else." (The Kansas City Star, 7 May 1918)

Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down.
The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a “deep state” probe in early 2025.

If you can convince the nation that anything the government does is for an ulterior motive, you can get away with anything and everything.

Trump posts a deranged message to Pam Bondi pressuring her to prosecute his political enemies after a U.S. attorney quit because he refused to fabricate charges: “We can’t delay any longer, it’s killing our reputation and credibility.
