Been that way for a while. I’ve worked for several large corporations. I’ve taken HR trainings that say employees can be terminated for unbecoming social media posts. Took one last week.
 
This is on the GOP…they are allowing him to rule with no threat of repercussions… just sitting back and doing nothing!

We already have plenty of media that might as will be state or Republican sponsored as in Fox News, and AM radio for starters.
 
Those were the good old days of David Letterman. I still miss his sense of humor. Interesting how Letterman got by with making President Bush look like a clueless idiot every night but never got fired or suspended for it.

 
Ok explain this to me like Im 5.
I thought the Big Beautiful Charge was about government spending and budget. So how come we are looking at passing a spending bill 6 months later or we have a government shutdown?

The previous bill was for FY25 which ends Sept 30, so now we need to pass a budget bill or continuing resolution for FY26.

So why didn't they pass it through say FY 26? I thought that last one was supposed to be longer term.

Also why all the uproar over the last bill (aside from politics as usual). If Im a dem congressman and I truly believe the past one would cause pain but only temporary I would have said go for it guys and made sure to remind my constituents who was responsible when I was campaigning for 2026.
