Trump 47

Have the Republicans, evangelicals, and media tools and pundits effectively ended the Epstein files investigation? Truthfully I never expected this prolonged coverage for a man I’ve never even heard of (Charlie Kirk). tRump sure knows how to make the most out of a terrible situation and utilizes every opportunity to stop the investigation and enhance the media coverage. Flags at half staff, Medal of Freedom award (right up there with Rush Limbaugh and Mother Theresa ), and absolutely NOTHING about school children being shot and killed in droves, Or infrastructure improvements in Texas flooding to protect camps for children.
I have a niece who’s been posting some near blasphemous IMO stuff. Example “Now we can begin to understand how the disciples felt when Christ was crucified”. Good grief. Sainthood and martyrdom awaits apparently. Most people my age had never heard of him. I’ve asked, and probably need to do some reading about what he said and stood for.

I don’t care whose names are in the Epstein files at this point, but I darn sure want them ALL punished severely. tRump is sure hiding something otherwise why move Maxwell to the club med of prisons. How many criminals is he willing to pardon in order to squelch any movement towards justice for children? Epstein Epstein, Epstein 🤮 Sure seems like some major bait and switch going on for the sole benefit of Donald John Trump and his friends 🤢🤮😡 Not everyone one has the power and authority to control the national narrative. Expect a theatrical stadium funeral. Will jets do a flyover? 21 gun salute? Fireworks? Laying in State at the Capitol rotunda? Statues? Was the wife even asked if she wants this? Or was her arm severely twisted for the benefit of this POTUS?

President Donald Trump is sparking fresh concerns about his mental acuity after wildly claiming on Sunday that 300 million Americans died last year from drugs - despite the entire U.S. population being just 340 million, according to the 2020 U.S. Census.

Kash Patel on thin ice as FBI director after Trump taps new ‘co-deputy’ amid Charlie Kirk case criticism

Fox News is reporting that long-known tensions between Bondi and Patel over the will-they-or-won’t-they back and forth over release of the Epstein files are spilling out into the open, with Bailey’s appointment seen by some as a move to engineer Patel’s ouster.

"The White House, Bondi, [deputy Attorney General] Blanche have no confidence in Kash," one source with knowledge of ongoing personnel discussions told Fox News. "Pam, in particular, cannot stand him. Blanche either.”

The report comes on the heels of a separate article published by CNN indicating that the FBI director’s problems just multiplied with the murder of Charlie Kirk in Utah.

Reporter: “This is a trans flag is up and down 14th street. A lot of people are threatened by this flag. Would you be opposed to taking this flag down?”

Trump: “I wouldn’t but then they’ll sue and get freedom of speech stuff…”

Q: Do you think it would've been fitting to lower the flags to half staff when Melissa Hortman, the Minnesota House Speaker, was gunned down by an assassin?

TRUMP: I'm not familiar. The who?

In his mental state he probably legitimately doesn't remember June. Give it a couple of months and he's going to start ranting about the idiot who put on all these tariffs. Naturally the Republicans in congress will blame it on Biden and their base will believe them.

Im only half joking with the tariff thing.

He’s already talked about the horrible past trade deals between the US and Canada/Mexico…that he negotiated.

Just ANOTHER empty EO

Trump administration considering economic aid for farmers as China moves to buy / import 95% of Soybean Demand from South America in response to Tariffs. Farmers also dealing with fallout after losing $1 billion in Trump Spending Cuts to USDA

The Trump administration is evaluating whether to grant aid to American farmers this fall, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said Monday.

“We are working with our colleagues in Congress and closely monitoring markets daily to evaluate the amount of additional assistance that might be needed this fall,” Rollins said at a meeting of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture in Rogers, Ark.

The Hill has reached out to the House Agriculture Committee and the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee for comment on Rollins’s remarks.

Rollins’s comments come as Chinese buyers have yet to purchase soybeans from U.S. farmers, despite increased production yields relative to last year. China is utilizing soybeans as a bargaining chip in its ongoing trade negotiations with the Trump administration.

They also come as farmers feel the impacts of the administration’s cuts to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs. In March, the agency cut more than $1 billion in funding for schools and food banks to purchase goods from local farms and ranches.

U.S. tariffs on Chinese imported goods are set at 30 percent, while Chinese tariffs on American imported goods are set at 10 percent. Last month, the two countries agreed to pause tariff increases on each other’s goods for 90 days; the new deadline to reach an agreement before tariff rates increase is Nov. 10.

According to the latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, released Sept. 12, American farmers have produced 53.5 bushels per acre of soybeans, ahead of the 2023-24 seasonal total of 50.6 bushels per acre and the 2024-25 seasonal estimate of 50.7 bushels per acre.

However, despite the increased yield, Chinese buyers have opted for South American soybeans, booking roughly 7.4 million metric tons of shipments from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay for October. That accounts for 95 percent of the country’s projected demand for the crop next month.

Last October, by contrast, saw Chinese buyers purchase 5.9 million metric tons of soybeans from American farmers and 3.7 million metric tons from South American farmers. U.S. agricultural exports reached $176 billion last year, according to a July report from the USDA. In that report, the agency also noted that 28.6 percent of agricultural exports went to East Asia.

During President Trump’s first term, the USDA sent roughly $23 billion to farmers in the midst of the president’s initial trade battle with China. USDA research showed that $27 billion in agricultural exports were lost as a result of the trade war.

Reporter: What do you make of Bondi saying she is going to go after hate speech, a lot of your allies say hate speech is free speech.

Trump: Probably go after people like you, you treat me unfairly, you have hate in your heart. ABC paid me $16 million for a form of hate speech, your company paid me 16 million for a form of hate speech, maybe they'll go after you.

Interesting that reporters don't correct Trump when he makes an obvious error. Maybe that isn't their job. Or fear there would be consequences for embarrassing Trump.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she could investigate businesses that refused to print Charlie Kirk vigil posters, and planned to target protesters engaging in "hate speech." It reflects an effort by the Trump administration to punish anyone who criticize President Trump's political stances.

So now our employers have an " obligation '" to police their employees speech at work and at home !!?!?

Wtaf!?

"Employers, you have an obligation to get rid of people who are saying horrible things.” - Pam Bondi

Sen. Lindsey Graham, a South Carolina Republican who is a close ally of Trump, asked FBI Director Kash Patel Tuesday what legal justification the administration is using for military strikes on Venezuelan boats that the president has said are carrying drugs
