Speculation on why Trump doesn't want this released.
Do we think hes in the Epstein files? Yeah, probably. The catch is his followers were willing to justify insurrection so you know they will find an excuse for him being in there. And it may he plausible. I mean if I was into some weird stuff but I found out my bestie was into something crazy and wayyyy illegal I'd probably want to distance myself too.
But that's not the problem. MAGA will forgive a lot but I don't know that they will forgive being a snitch for the feds. Trump may have been a FBI informant for years and THAT is what he wants to bury. Mr Drain the Swamp saved his skin by diming his friends out to the swamp.

During Trump's first term, it's interesting that he didn't seem to care much that opium production in Afghanistan reached record highs.
He had adults in the room keeping him on task. Plus the powers behind him now didn't have the political capital to destroy the federal government back then.
