We do have Fentanyl and other drugs coming into the country. I don't believe people that are coming here to work are a problem or a threat. But there are large quantities of hard drugs being transported through an unguarded border.

Tariffs are a tax on consumers in the importing country. If you recognize and acknowledge that indisputable fact and think raising taxes that way maybe isn't a horrible idea (IMO a bad idea, but I wouldn't go so far as to say horrible). He ain't doing any of that The manner in which he is using tariffs is more than "idiotic", it's economically dangerous.
