NAVARRO: Are tariffs price hikes or tax cuts? I say they're tax cuts

EISEN: I mean, many economists would say they are tax hikes because ultimately a consumer will pay for some of those increased prices

NAVARRO: Most economists just don't agree with us. Who has credibility here?

You don't have to have credibility when you utilize/exercise authoritarian power.

Plenty of things are concerning. It's Trump.

I just choose not to revolve my own peace and sanity around it.
So your answer is no. Got it. You're not concerned because it's not affecting you directly.

I'm concerned because 1. It is affecting me and 2. I don't just care about myself. Even if it weren't affecting my everyday life, I'm concerned the people are being put in concentration camps. That small businesses are failing left and right. That millions upon millions of people can't afford to live or eat. That families are being separated. That racism is ok. That queer people are being targeted. That people are dying all over the world because of USAID cuts. That our public lands are being sold off to the highest bidder. That our education system is being attacked. Need I go on?

To be honest, it is affecting my peace and sanity. I'm not ok with other people suffering.

Try asking Walmart what tariffs are. For starters there, a bag of salad has gone up from $2.28 to $2.48. That's like around 9% tax hike.

What if a few manufacturers are fleeing the U. S., due to the tariffs? Or would that be fake news?

Trump Derangement Syndrome is real.

The people that call out everything he does have it.
The people that defend everything he does also have it.

Also Trump does a lot of Deranged stuff. He also has it and he's in power and unfortunately he can manipulate 99% of the Republican politicians to go along on whatever wild goose chase he decides because there's a gravy train of donor money and free advertising to keep them in office.

America needs both parties to check the other one ( we really need 4 or 5 parties) . There's going to be a wild Democratic overcorrection after Trump's term and that won't be good either.

Can you give an example of things that he has done that have been called out, but were merely the typical actions of a president, therefore show derangement syndrome and not proud Americans who cannot stand what he is doing to the office of the presidency?

Reporter: “What’s going on with those posts on X that are clearly trolling the president?

Gov. Newsome: “I hope it’s a wake up call for the president. I’m just following his example. If you’ve got issues with what I’m putting out, you sure as hell should have concerns about what he’s putting out as president.”

Newsom: "He doesn't play by a different set of rules. He doesn't believe in the rules. And as a consequence, we need to disabuse ourselves of the way things have been done. It's not enough to just hold hands, have a candlelight vigil, and talk about the way the world should be... we have got to meet fire with fire"

REPORTER: Are you concerned at all that some federal officers that are helping DC police might be pulled away from other high-priority assignments?

TRUMP: Like what?

REPORTER: Terrorism

TRUMP: They'll stop terrorism as part of what they're doing right now

"Crime was *such* a pressing issue in DC that Donald Trump found it necessary to first figure out how to put up a flagpole on the White House grounds, lay the plans for a $200 million ballroom, host a bunch of crypto dinners, release a cell phone plan and a crypto coin. All of those things were more pressing than the crime that was apparently so out of control in DC that we needed federal troops to be stationed there."
