Sen. Rand Paul warns Trump tax bill will lead to more deficits: 'Irresponsible'

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., discusses his objections to President Donald Trump's tax bill on 'Varney & Co.'

Trump lashes out at Sen. Rand Paul over opposition to big tax bill

"Rand Paul has very little understanding of the BBB, especially the tremendous GROWTH that is coming," Trump wrote. "He loves voting 'NO' on everything, he thinks it’s good politics, but it’s not. The BBB is a big WINNER!!!"

Five minutes later, Trump added in a second post: "Rand votes NO on everything, but never has any practical or constructive ideas. His ideas are actually crazy (losers!). The people of Kentucky can’t stand him. This is a BIG

Trump voters call president's pardon of corrupt Virginia sheriff 'a terrific mistake'

Many in Virginia's Culpeper County are unhappy with the president's pardon of a sheriff convicted of bribery. Trump called him a victim "persecuted by the Radical Left 'monsters' and 'left for dead.'"

I mean this could have been a post from anytime in the last few decades but he ain’t wrong. Also the falling out took longer than I expected but here we go.

Maybe Musk really was sold a bill of goods. To have him lead DOGE and make such a big deal about it…and then not implement any of the cut recommendations is a slap in the face…but more importantly, just continues inefficient spending.

Pete Hegseth’s New Press Secretary Posted Deranged Claims About Lynching

A Pentagon staffer was promoted by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth despite her history of pushing antisemitic conspiracy theories and neo-Nazi rhetoric on social media.

Kingsley Wilson, formerly a deputy press secretary at the Department of Defense, was appointed as the Pentagon’s chief press secretary on May 23, just months after reports exposed her extremist online views.

Trump to Sign Order Hiking Steel, Aluminum Tariffs to 50%

(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump will sign a directive on Tuesday formally raising steel and aluminum tariffs to 50% from 25%, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced.

Trump said last Friday the higher charge will take effect on June 4, but Leavitt did not elaborate on the timing. The move raises trade tensions at a time when the US is locked in negotiations with numerous trading partners over his so-called “reciprocal” duties before a July 9 deadline.

DHS takes FAMILY of Colorado fire attack suspect Soliman into ICE custody, Noem says

  • Federal agents took into ICE custody the family of Mohamed Soliman, who is charged in the fire attack on demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said.
  • Noem said that authorities are investigating whether Soliman's family knew about or supported Sunday's attack.

Federal immigration agents on Tuesday took into custody the family of Mohamed Soliman, the man accused of attempted murder in the fire attack on demonstrators in Colorado, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in a social media post.

Noem said that authorities are investigating whether Soliman's family knew about or supported Sunday's attack by the 45-year-old Egyptian national in Boulder on a group calling for the release of Israeli hostages by the terror group Hamas.

Soliman is married with five children. The family lives in Colorado Springs.

"Today, @DHSgov and @ICEGov are taking the family of suspected Boulder, Colorado terrorist, and illegal alien, Mohamed Soliman, into ICE custody," Noem said in her post on X.

"This terrorist will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it," Noem wrote.

"I am continuing to pray for the victims of this attack and their families. Justice will be served."

Soliman entered the United States legally in August 2022 on a visa that is typically issued to tourists, and applied for asylum the next month, according to the Department of Homeland Security, NBC News reported. The visa expired in February 2023, but Soliman has not exhausted legal efforts to remain in the U.S., according to NBC.

Court documents say that Soliman told authorities had had plotted Sunday's attack for a year, and that he waited to execute it until after his daughter graduated from school.

Soliman allegedly yelled, "Free Palestine!" when he attacked the demonstrators with a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails, sending eight of them to the hospital with burns.

He is charged in state court with multiple counts of attempted murder, assault and possession of an incendiary device. He is being held on $10 million bond in that case.

Soliman is also charged in federal court with a hate crime related to his targeting the group because of their religion or ethnicity.

Soliman told authorities after his arrest that he "wanted them all to die," according to Colorado Acting U.S. Attorney J. Bishop Grewell.

"He had no regrets, and he would go back and do it again," Grewell said.

Musk got what he wanted out of DOGE.

I have no doubt of that whatsoever.

I do like this quote of his about the BBB though, “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful, but I don’t know if it can be both," Musk said.

So Hegseth announced today that the DOD is renaming the SS Harvey Milk and it was reported the timing wasnt a coincidence.

Seems l guess owning the libs is now official policy...

Joe Walsh was elected to Congress as a Tea Party Republican in 2010

'Stakes are too high': Trump drives former Tea Partier into the Democratic Party

Joe Walsh long ago left the Republican Party, but his time as a political independent has come to an end.

The former Republican congressman, who was swept into office as part of the Tea Party wave in 2010, and long-shot GOP challenger to Donald Trump in 2020, announced Tuesday that he had formally joined the Democratic Party.

"The stakes are simply too high to NOT become a Democrat," Walsh wrote on his Substack page. "Let me explain why."

"Let’s start with the obvious — a tyrant sits in the White House," Walsh added. "The very thing our Founders feared most is here. Throw in the fact that one of our two major political parties is a real and direct threat to democracy and the rule of law. These are unprecedented, dangerous times in America. I know it. You know it. There are even Republicans who know it."

Walsh called out Republicans who have appeased Trump or opposed him as he attacks what the former lawmaker called "fundamental values. [including] the rule of law, democracy [and] pluralism," and he urged them to unite – as Democrats – in a broad coalition that includes even conservatives.

"Without freedom, democracy, and the rule of law, America ceases to be," Walsh wrote. "And currently, only the Democratic Party is on the side of all three of these core American values. There isn’t a third party coming to the rescue any time soon. Right now, the Democratic Party is democracy’s lone defender and best hope."

Walsh admits he's changed in the seven years since he first publicly spoke out against Trump, and while he still considers himself a "border hawk [and] unabashed gun rights advocate," he's softened his views on social issues.

"I’ve opened my eyes and listened to people who don’t think like me," he said. "And by doing so, I gained a greater understanding of and appreciation for LGBTQ issues, structural racism, the need for empathetic immigration reform, the dangers of climate change, and the role government must play to help care for the neediest and most vulnerable among us."

"Most importantly, I’ve changed how I behave as a public figure," Walsh added. "I went to Congress on a mission to get our debt under control and to shake up the political establishment. I was passionate about my cause — so passionate that I said and did things I regret, so passionate that I became, way more than I’m proud of, a divisive political assh*le. That’s no longer who I am.

Walsh said he finally changed his party registration because the first four months of Trump's presidency have angered him even more than he imagined, and he marveled that the Democratic Party could be home to a conservative like himself and a progressive like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

"From the Tea Party to the Democratic Party, all in the past 15 years," he said.

"What a wild, crazy, unprecedented political journey it’s been," Walsh added.
Wow! What a career.
James Gang>>>>> The Eagles>>>>> Solo>>>>>> Tea Party>>>>>>> Democrat

"the US Department of Veterans Affairs have ordered that VA physicians and scientists not publish in medical journals or speak with the public without first seeking clearance from political appointees of Donald Trump"
I wonder if this had anything to do with that horrible policy:
