Trump 47

I may have screwed up, we need more of Joe Biden/Kamala Harris and the democrats.

I’m pissed illegal immigration’s down 95% saving American taxpayers millions in free handouts to people who have contributed nothing to America. It’s not fair all they were receiving was free food, housing, medical care, and education at taxpayer expense.

This is bullshit Trump is negotiating with Putin and Zelenskyy to end the war.
I prefer to see more soldiers and civilians die and billions of taxpayer dollars spent over this boarder dispute.

What the hell a cease-fire in Gaza? Trumps a fool! These people were fine killing each other. As far as hostages go they are collateral damage and acceptable part of any terrorist attack.

Tariffs are horrible. I can’t believe Apple’s moving operations back to America to avoiding paying tariffs. To top it off they are investing 500 million dollars and creating 20,000 jobs. We don’t need these producers we need more government employees.

Military recruitment numbers are up and our American military is expected to meet recruitment numbers for the first time in 4 years. This accomplishment is concerning with a strong military there will be less possibility of wars for the military industrial complex to profit off of saving taxpayer’s billions of dollars.

This needs to end, another 30 days of this is not sustainable please impeach Trump. How on earth was I such a fool voting for this it is crazy and unacceptable.
So Apple announces these huge investments but as for Apple’s overall production spending, “we do expect an overwhelming majority to continue to go into China,” said Angelo Zino, senior vice president at CFRA Research.

You should probably research how tariffs actually work and specifically how Trump Tariffs work under his executive orders. Nothing like tariff loopholes for people who play him.

Also it is great that military recruitment is up and we will meet our targets for 2025 but that fact was announced back in late summer early fall of 2024 based on increasing sign ups and deferrments.

As for your Gaza comment, Hostages still in captivity(asterisk): 59, of whom Israel has declared 32 to be dead. This includes 5 Americans. Remind us again what Trump has said about hostage release. And the thing that gets me the most is prior to the election he told BiBi to hold off negotiations bc he thought that situation played better for his election chances. He actually wanted US citizens to remain captive and tortured so he could win.

As for immigration that’s going so accorto his plan that he’s fired one lead already and he’s looking at instituting one of the biggest blights from US history bc they are so inept at what they wanted to do.

I thought Trump was going to expose and get rid of sex trafficking?

Ya know the whole Hollywood pizza planet stuff.

And in other news Trump worked to get the Tate back to America. They were being held in Romania for rape and sex trafficking.

Well, since Trump surely thought the Tate brothers were such great, great masculine men who supported him, why not? After all, he pardoned the Jan. 6 insurrectionists for supporting him.

Elon Musk falsely accused prominent lawyer and CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen of leading a “crime family” after he discovered a woman with the same last name worked for an organization that accepted funds from USAID.

The only problem? The woman, Tamar Eisen, is of no relation to Norm Eisen.

What a shit show

The Office of Personnel Management told the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to reinstate veterans, disabled veterans, and military spouses who were fired, according to an email sent to CFPB employees who saw their terminations reversed. https://news.bloomberglaw.com/banki...-to-reinstate-fired-veterans-military-spouses
Odd, I'm pretty sure vets still got canned at the dept of veteran affairs. Well, would be odd at any other time in the history of this nation.

My company put out a company wide message bracing everyone for this last week. Said these tariffs will force at least One price increase across the board and MAY require up to 3 Price increases this YEAR.

They said this would also slow down our hiring plans and potential to downgrade our yearly targets are being considered and future investments plans were all put in hold and employee positions currently being vacated would not be backfilled at this time

You think he's above trying to add a '0' to the number of years in a term with an EO?

Did he campaign hard in California that he was going to Fix their Water Problems?

Donald Trump Reverses Plan for California Reservoirs, adopts plan Biden had already passed and Congress had already funded. Exempts plan from Federal Spending Freeze.

President Donald Trump has released $315.5 million in federal funds for two California reservoirs after freezing billions of dollars in government spending last month.

Why It Matters

The release of funds comes nearly a month after Trump ordered federal agencies to pause all grants and loans that have already been approved by the government.

Before Trump took office, the Biden Admin had funds that were issued to improve California's water supply by raising the height of the dam at the San Luis Reservoir and constructing the Sites Reservoir, a project in Colusa County anticipated to cost billions.

What To Know

Trump has been a vocal critic of California's water supply. One of the executive orders he signed upon taking office was to direct the secretaries of commerce and the interior to route more water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta to other parts of the state. He also has criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom's handling of water concerns.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) announced the Trump administration was "investing more than $315.5 million to create new water storage at the future Sites Reservoir and at the existing San Luis Reservoir."

The Mercury News reported that Trump wasn't dedicating new federal funds for the projects. The funding had already been approved through the administration of former President Joe Biden and was no longer locked as part of the president's federal funding freeze.

The news from the USBR has garnered support and criticism, with some pleased the funds are no longer frozen and others questioning the way the bureau announced the release.

What People Are Saying

California-Great Basin Regional Director Karl Stock said in the USBR press release: "There is still a portion of the traditionally wet season in front of us, and we are committed to delivering as much water as possible to our contractors consistent with the goals of the Central Valley Project and Executive Order 14181. We will continue to work closely with our Central Valley Project contractors and partners, monitor the forecasts, and adjust numbers accordingly as the remaining winter and spring months play out. Further, both Reclamation and the Department of the Interior are committed to investing aggressively in projects such as Sites Reservoir and B.F. Sisk Dam Raise and San Luis Reservoir Expansion to improve water supply reliability for project contractors."

When reached for comment, Newsom's press office referred Newsweek to the governor's statement on the USBR announcement: "We are grateful for this shared priority with the Trump Administration as we move forward together to build critical infrastructure to improve water storage."

Civil engineer Jerry Brown said in The Mercury News report: "It's a good sign that President Trump and his administration are committed to the Sites project and are prioritizing it, just like Gov. Newsom and members of Congress from both parties are."

Greg Gartrell, retired assistant general manager of the Contra Costa Water District, said in The Mercury News report: "I've never heard of anyone freezing money and then unfreezing it and making a splash about it. I think they were embarrassed they froze it and Republican congresspeople probably raised hell about it, so they unfroze it."

It's shocking and depressing that people STILL don't know how tariffs work. Every single economist (or person with a high school education) is telling us that WE will pay the higher prices. But trump says "other countries will". Hmm...whom to believe?

Companies will not care that prices are higher. It will still be cheaper for them in the long run to pay tariffs and produce overseas and pass the higher costs on to us. Has anybody seen a massive rush of companies starting to build production facilities in the US? Even if they were (they won't), it would take years and years to get everything up and running. By that time we'll all be broke and dead.

So now his admin decides who can and can not Cover the Press and he is activly giving the Press directions on HOW to cover Him and What to say.

'Big deal': Trump cuts come for peanut country in deep red Trump county.

The effects of the Trump administration's rapid assault on the U.S. Agency for International Development have landed at the doorsteps of a Georgia peanut butter supplier in the heart of MAGA country.

Mana Nutrition, a nonprofit that employs over 100 workers who make peanut butter-based products for malnourished children across the world, said it received notice Thursday that $12 million worth of supply contracts had been terminated by USAID, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

And that could prove to be a substantial hit to the small rural South Georgia town of Fitzgerald, which sits inside a ruby red Trump county that voted overwhelmingly to return the MAGA leader to the White House in the November elections.

“The contract cancellations are a big deal, of course, because USAID is more than 90% of our business,” Mana’s cofounder and CEO Mark Moore told the publication Thursday. And there could be more USAID cancellations on the way, he added.

The USAID termination letter prepared on Feb. 26 told the peanut butter supplier the contracts are no longer “aligned with Agency priorities,” and claimed that “continuing this program is not in the national interest.”

Moore, whose business in the roughly 150,000-square-foot manufacturing facility has rapidly accelerated over the last 15 years, said the cancelled contracts make up 35% of the company’s orders, the publication reported. The nonprofit said that’s enough to feed 300,000 children.

“We make these packets of peanut butter in Fitzgerald because it’s the best place in the world to make a packet of peanut butter,” Moore said.

The company produces “nutrient-dense food pouches containing milk, multivitamins and peanut butter," the outlet said. The canceled USAID contracts affect countries including South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria and Madagascar,” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Mana is still holding $23 million in USAID supply contracts that still don’t appear to have been canceled as of Thursday afternoon, the report said.

“Our assumption is they intended to cancel all our contracts, but for some reason they didn’t get around to it. We don’t know,” Moore told the publication. Meanwhile, Moore said he was still waiting for the government to cut the company a check for $20 million in packets already produced and shipped.
