House Speaker Mike Johnson: I believe in maximum transparency. In the Epstein evil, there are innocent victims of those unspeakable crimes. When the files are turned over to the public, we have to be very careful about protecting the innocent.

Trump's intelligence chiefs try to rewrite the history of the 2016 election

Five years ago, Marco Rubio said there was "irrefutable evidence of Russian meddling.” Now, Tulsi Gabbard says that claim is “treasonous" and should be criminally investigated.

Trump trying to get Democrats in trouble over the 2016 election sounds like being world's sorest winner. Whatever happened, Trump didn't lose the election over it. The worst I heard was that Trump was illegally spied upon going back to 2013. Far worse that happened to Trump was losing the 2020 election. So, you'd think he would go after charging Democrats with vote fraud that he thinks led to that loss. He likely still can't find any credible evidence.

Trump forcing Coke to use real sugar couldn't have anything to do with his buddies the Fanjuls owning a sugar refinery in Florida, could it?

If we are talking about sugar we aren't talking about Epstein.

And what @KK10 said. High fructose corn syrup is the devil. Coming from someone who lives and works in corn country, the less HFCS we take in the better. That being said I don't think replacing it with pure sugar will be that much of a benefit.

Also if you've ever been to a Mexican grocery store you can get the good stuff with real sugar. Maybe you are onto something there. Its not MAHA as much as it is push out one supplier and replace them with another. MAHA mob style

Oh, I completely agree. I'm 100% on board with getting rid of high fructose corn syrup. I'm happy with the end product, but I don't believe for 1 nanosecond that trump did this with Americans best interests in mind.

I'll guess we'll have to wait and see if one of trumps longtime friends and biggest donors gets the contract to supply Coca Cola with their sugar.

I really think Coke was already planning to do this and the Trump Rapid Distraction Team jumped on it to stroke that ego.

If we're talking about Coke and real cane sugar, we ain't talking about Epstein files.

With Johnson shutting down Congress for a month to avoid a vote on the files, I don't have much faith in the media or the supposed 12 or so Republicans in the house keeping up the drum beat of disclosure.
