Trump 47

Trump’s Pentagon is erasing Navajo Code Talkers—Indigenous warriors who helped win WWII—from military websites. This isn’t about “efficiency.” It’s about whitewashing history and erasing those who don’t fit his MAGA narrative.

Again, DEI in reverse. The Navajo had an ability that white people did not have. This was talent that help save our asses. REmoving this is not "DEI." It is pure racism. I'm disgusted.

How anyone thinks that a few policies that could be good are worth the harms to our society, our institutions, and our place in the world is beyond me.

'We're not stopping': Trump officials raise the stakes in showdowns with judges

Trump is claiming nearly limitless power through a campaign to delegitimize institutions that have long acted as checks on the presidency.

How does this happen in the US? How do we get to the point where the White House is essentially ignoring the Judicial Branch and Congress just watches?

Asylum-seeker Ivannoa Sanchez, 22, said her husband "went to his routine ICE appointment and he didn't come out." Now she believes he is one of the hundreds of Venezuelan men who were sent by plane to El Salvador under the Alien Enemies Act.

U.S. immigration authorities arrested and interrogated a German national, who is a U.S. legal permanent resident, at Boston Logan International Airport, according to the man’s mother and his partner.

A page on the Defense Department’s website celebrated Pfc. Ira Hayes, a Pima Indian who was one of the six Marines photographed hoisting a U.S. flag at Iwo Jima in 1945.

The page, along with many others about minority service members, has now been erased.

The response to this was that some of these were "Automatic removals" which I believe to be BS. Hell, the article about the Enola Gay was removed. The parties responsible for this need to be canned. I'm not a fan of DEI hiring, but we cannot let it be an excuse to go to the other extreme.

Bartiromo loses patience with Bessent over tariffs: "See, these are the things that people are really worried about. Because they first thought it was just about trade. Then they thought it was just about fentanyl. Then after that we talked about, 'well, maybe it's currency manipulation.' Now you're talking about food testing. And when I bring up the issue of clarity, that's what I'm talking about and that's what I'm hearing from corporate America, that we're not sure where this is going."

COMPLETE MELTDOWN: Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tennessee) loses it entirely on air and throws a massive tantrum. "All I'm asking you is about the Constitution and that seems to be upsetting you."

They literally broke into the building

The U.S. Institute of Peace, a think tank funded by Congress, was the scene of a hostile takeover by the Department of Government Efficiency. DOGE has tried to install new leadership at the institute.
