Makes your head hurt. Bottom line, go tcu on friday, go Pokes on saturday, all the rest is whatever.

This really didn't address the tiebreakers, however.
Does it not? These are the outcomes of we’re in the tie breaker:

We win, Texas loss and OU loss.
1.OSU
2.UT

We win, OU win, Texas loss and Kansas State loss.
1. OSU
2. OU

We win and Texas win.
1. UT
2. OSU

We lose, Texas win, and OU loss.
1. UT
2. OSU

We lose, OU loss and Kansas State loss.
1. UT
2. OSU

Edit: and looks like we’re out of we win, Texas loses, OU wins and KState wins. Is that right?

Kansas State: Second with win, Oklahoma State loss and OU loss. Second with win, OU win, Oklahoma State win and Texas loss.

I think that KSU scenario has since been proven wrong. Here is what the simulator says now about a KSU win, OU win, OSU win and Texas loss.

1. Texas (7 - 2) With Kansas St, above OSU and Oklahoma based on winning percentage against #7 teams all played one time (2-0). Above Kansas St based on head-to-head record (1-0).
2. OSU (7 - 2) With Oklahoma, below Kansas St and Texas based on winning percentage against #7 teams all played one time (1-1). Above Oklahoma and Kansas St based on round-robin record due to a round-robin sweep (2-0).
3. Kansas St (7 - 2) With Texas, above OSU and Oklahoma based on winning percentage against #7 teams all played one time (2-0).

So, we would be in based on round-robin since head-to-head takes precedence?

Let’s focus on beating BYU and I think our position will be pretty good if that happens. Anything beyond that we can’t control.

While I will be in BPS Saturday, I won't be on the field executing the X's and O's. Pretty sure my focus won't affect team preparation. I like understanding all the scenarios as it makes the slate of games even more exciting.

Is there any way by which it can end up as us vs KSU in the title game? That's the first thing I'm rooting for. If not then *gag* go whorns and frogs.
Maybe there was a chance if ut lost against ISU and then ISU lost this weekend...but I think that ship sailed.

OSU beats byu and texas beats tech...if this doesn't happen, I don't give a $h!t what happens with the different scenarios...I want texas in ship, not that I have confidence that we prevail, buuuuttttt if we did, we would knock yet another seccer from playoffs conversation and send both out on a losing note (from the Pokes)...
It's just now occurring to me that a great moniker for aTm, misery, plus ut south and north is "SECeders". Theyre leaving the union that was the Big 12 and joining the collection of states that seceded during the Civil War anyway. It covers all the bases!

Kansas State can't get any higher than #2 and that requires an OSU loss. No way for a rematch.

I believe one of ou/ut is is guaranteed to make the ccg. It comes down to the opponent OSU, ksu, or ou/ut.
