The Texas Democrat Joe Rogan wants to run for POTUS

James Talarico: "2,000 years ago, when the powerful few at the top hurt those at the bottom, that barefoot rabbi didn't stay in his room and pray. He walked into the seat of power and flipped over the tables of injustice. To those who love this state, this country, our neighbors, it's time to start flipping tables."

Talarico: One thing is clear today, we’re about to take back Texas.

We’re done being divided. We’re done being played. We’re done being pitted against each other. That old politics is dying, and a new politics is being born — through all of us.

Dream on for now. But it's still a long time until November. A large part of it rides on whether Trump loses further popularity in Texas. And what DonnyBoy said: "Don’t underestimate how fed-up sane people are with the rhetoric of both parties.
To me, that means many people don't want to hear crazy talk about how any Republican is spending time obsessed over a Democrat's religious beliefs while the economy keeps getting worse and with a war going on.

Even Sen. Mullin is getting in on attacking Talarico and Demo Party saying,

"Apparently, the new "moderate" Democrat Party thinks: “God is non-binary," Jesus Christ was a "radical feminist," "white skin gives every white American immunity from the virus," and our U.S. border should be like "a welcome mat." (But Mullin left out "with a locked door".)
Oh, and they're for "trans" abortion. Wow."

What's a trans abortion?

Pink News says:

The fierce LGBTQ+ ally, who has continually spoke out against the homophobic, sexist and racist laws, gave the powerful speech at a Human Rights Campaign event in April last year.

In the speech, the Democrat, who is currently running for US Senate “to take his fight against corruption to Washington and win power back for working people”, said: “In scripture, Jesus befriended people that others called sinners. The only people in the Bible that Jesus condemned were religious leaders who used religion to hurt others.”

“Being a Christian is about loving thy neighbor, not bullying LGBTQ people, chasing pregnant women across state lines, harassing librarians, silencing teachers and defunding our schools.”

“I refuse to let Christian nationalists twist a religion of love to justify their hate,” Talarico said.

Same old tired talking points

Call them a leftist

Claim something about transgender people in sports despite there LITERALLY LESS THAN 1% of US athletes are trans

James Talarico is not a leftist. He uses some class language when campaigning, that is it. He is not even supporting medicare for all, which is the minimum "leftist" position, IMO.

Abbot is a corrupt whackjob and Texas A&M alumni. The latter is enough for me not to like him.

Less than 1% of the US population is trans. It is a complete boogeyman issue.
We have friends with a trans child. They were harassed so brutally in Texas that they were suicidal and had to be institutionalized for a period for their own safety. They were harassed not because they were transitioning, but because they simply changed their name and grew out their hair.

I know for a fact that our friends wanted a trans child more than a dead one.

So, who is protecting kids here?

That is absolutely horrible. I hope they are doing ok now.
