The Charleston Classic

Besides the first 4 minutes, we have dominated the first half. Pokes lead 37-28 with 3 to go in the first half. Need to finish the half strong instead of falling into our habit of letting a decent lead go.

12 offensive boards, 9 assists, 7 steals....but just 33.3% from the field. Doing everything right but getting the ball in the net. Meanwhile, FAU is shooting a high percentage, but the guys are doing a great job of not letting them get shots....OSU almost double the number of shots of FAU. If we can keep the defensive intensity and start getting some shots to drop we should be good. But there's a reason they play the 2nd half. Come on Pokes.

I LOVE that our guys seal the lane when someone drives.

OMG... the missed layups are THE difference in this game.
Sealing off defenders is definitely a strength of this team. We didn't see it as much with Southern Illinois, but it's good to see it here. That's good, selfless, team basketball.

Just tuned in and have watched FAU go 4 straight trips to the FT line. This is why college basketball is going downhill more than anything IMO. It’s definitely the reason I have quit watching for the most part. There seems to be a foul called every possession. Just brutal to try to watch.
