I kinda would have liked to see Kilfoyl go after the lead runner on that 1st comebacker. IMO she had her dead to rights if she went to 3rd with it.

Lexi should’ve gotten the lead runner with that hit back to the mound. She had plenty of time to throw her out with 10 feet to spare at third base. She didn’t even look and went to first base, then threw the ball in the dirt to walk the runner in. Those fielding blunders that plagued us during our 2–11 run are rearing their ugly head!

Agree. Great teams don't make those mistakes. Nebraska may have been the last team to get in, but here we are.

1st inning with bases loaded was a killer. Gotta have that killer instinct and bury your opponent when you get the chance…unfortunately we squandered the opportunity
