Season Opener vs Clemson

I attended the game today and was impressed by Harrison on the bump. His stuff is not overpowering but it plays and keeps hitters guessing which is key. I thought Stormy did not look like a freshman at all and could be a solid middle reliever and potential spot starter during midweek. As far as the bats, we were basically quiet until we were not. It was good to see us put up crooked numbers and string together some good ABs. The lineup is there to do the damage as long as we limit the Ks.
 
Sounds like Kollin Ritchie is giong to be out awhile (according to Josh).. Love what I'm seeing from all the true freshman. Thompson is a player and Lund is going to be big time.. If Jones keeps swinging it like he has in the first 2 days this lineup is potent (Need Bruggie and Meola to have good conistent years).

That sucks about Ritchie but explains why he hasn’t seen any playing time. Any news on Sylvester?
 
GCU transfer Watkins will be the starter tonight vs UT. Just like Davis, he is a small guy at 6’ 9”. He tallied 47 Ks in 47 innings last year.
