Really sucks to lose by 1 when your opponent is gifted a run, BUT, we gave them 5 others runs with free baseball.

Very disappointing loss. I get it is the first game of the year, but you literally gave the game a way. Didn’t make them earn the last two runs with those late errors.

Played well with focus 3/4 of the game. Got a decent lead and lost focus and intensity. Typical OSU baseball under Josh.

If we wanted to win…youngerman would’ve been brought in earlier but it was clear the freshman were going to pitch today. Sucks…the pitching was the difference. You have the transfers…should’ve used them today instead of the young pups IMO.

This looked like a typical opening day game from the players to the umpires.

At the end of the day this game would have been a nice resume building piece but won't hurt the seed at all come postseason time. Game went better than I thought it would after the first time through the order .1-9 with 7 Ks is brutal. Got better though.
