Heck I’ll happily concede that Trump is guilty of some of it as well as being corrupt. I just think it’s hilarious the the amount of oxygen and energy that you and your TDS brethren will exert trying to convince yourself that this one will stick and you’ll be able to keep him off the ballot in November. I truly admire your commitment but at the same time I am beginning to become concerned about you in particular when/if all of this law fare fails and Trump wins the election.

So he's guilty and corrupt but you don't care if he ever gets the punishment that needs to happen to prevent a repeat?
If he gets off because he's president then there's nothing to stop a repeat or worse. Using the Presidency to help only yourself and killing every positive design of how the country was built to run. Trump is a dolt and we are lucky that he is, any intelligent person with his lack of care about rules and narcissism wouldn't have failed.
I just need to see that a politician in a high power position is finally punished by the checks and balances we are SUPPOSED to have, or by the justice system. It grates on me how different the system works for those in power vs not.
Any normal person do any of the things Trump is on criminal trial for and they would have been held without bond, and Would have already been through trial. If a grand jury came out and said Biden needs to be prosecuted for something I'd want him to go through the same crap. Criminals need to be punished regardless of their political or financial status. Nieve soapbox over.
I know you're aware of the same facts I am so won't list them out. I'm just curious, if you wouldn't call the Republican party under Trump fascist what would you call it?

I have exerted zero effort into convincing myself of anything or anybody else of anything related to his prosecution. Unlike you and your fellow MAGAstani Type II TDS sufferers, I’m perfectly happy with the justice system taking the path it is taking and letting juries decide his guilt or innocence beyond a reasonable doubt. I’ve also never advocated for him or wished for him to be off the ballot. During his impeachments, I took the position that they were a waste of time and a political stunt because there was a 0% chance of him being convicted in the Senate.
On one day you attempt to paint me as a TDS sufferer. On the next one you and your fellow extremist to the left are chuckling it up and slapping each other on the back for your juvenile name for a middle of the road moderate that refuses to “pick a side” and adhere to it.
It’s interesting that you’ll happily concede that Trump is guilty of some crimes as well as being corrupt, but you take joy in your belief that none of it will “stick” and the effect you imagine it will have (which it won’t) on others. Also interesting is your use of the term law fare to characterize the prosecutions of a person you happily concede is guilty of some of what he’s being prosecuted for. That indicates either you don’t understand what that term means and are just aping your fellow MAGAstanis’ talking points or…..you’re just trolling.
I expect it’s the latter of those, but I also concede it’s possible that you really are that dumb.

I’ve been on record as saying that I 100% disagree w any plea deal whereby he agrees to not run. Let the laws of our country dictate his fate and the conscience of the voters do the same. If he is found guilty by any of the juries let him suffer the consequences which include what voters think. Just don’t set any “precedent” w charging and negotiating plea deals to temove from ballots.
I too think the Republic will survive if he wins in 2024. But I think that is long term. I do think w the policies being floated from his camp we as a Nation are in for short term pain. It will be economic and systemic in certain areas. My advice is get to cash this Spring. Get as liquid as you can. Not just bc of Trump as Biden policies play a role. But some of what Trump camp is discussing will only exacerbate the problem. Potentially having devastating economic impacts.
As far as I can tell, a plea agreement involving him agreeing not to run has never been in the works or on the table by any of the parties. It would be very hard to even enforce some kind of deal like that.
I have a less dim view of the damage either JoePa or DerTrumper can do on the economy or the Republic in four years either would have available to them. Frankly, the number one concern I have....whomever ends up President....would be either party having control of the Presidency and filibuster-proof supermajority/majority control in the Senate/House respectively. Gridlock in Washington is a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
I'm keeping a good diversified mix of cash reserves, stocks, bonds, hard metals, and a little bit of crypto (just for fun) which will supplement three different defined benefit pensions from the feds, OKC, and the State of Oklahoma along with social security if it's still around when I decide to take it. I can also live very frugally if necessary. I'll be alright.
