(That's not a misspelling of "bearcats")

Tonight, I hope to see Anthony Roy become a more integral part of the offense that creates good shots and lanes to the basket.

GO POKES!!!

bearkats are a solid mid major. Dog fight tonight. Also if Mantzoukas can’t hit threes then that’s a problem because he takes forever to go up with the ball when he’s under the basket.

Really nice job of Anthony Roy looking for the open man. He taken it all on himself a couple of times, and had some success. But he's mostly in the system tonight. I like what I'm seeing.

Po'Boigh King is keeping the Kats in the game with his threes. We need to get out on that guy.

I was really hoping we would see more drives with kicks to the corner this year….something SH has been doing constantly with success tonight.

A quick look at the box score reveals the same recurring problem I am seeing over and over again with this team. With 1:34 in the first half and OSU down 41-37, they are 13-21 on 2 point shots (61.9 percent) and 2-12 from 3 (16.7 percent). If they would get the ball down low and take higher percentage shots they would be up by a dozen. They insist on jacking 3s when the 3s aren't falling.

That is a frustrating thing through all levels. High School just wants to jack 3's. My son's sixth grade coach has plays for 5&6th graders to jack 3's. They really don't have an offense to run a post game. Drives me bonkers
