Rob Walton to retire

Wouldn’t Trey Cobb be a million times more likely? Or is that just me
I wouldn’t be a fan of this. Trey needs more time to learn and/or go get some experience calling a game and developing pitchers as the sole pitching coach. This hire needs to be someone with experience that is ready to roll, not learning on the job. Just my opinion though, who knows what Josh will do

I know what Josh was doing today - playing golf ar Stillwater Country Club.

He just got fired because Tech’s pitching has sucked the last few years.

If hiring a former player is required, then go hire Rick Kranitz off the Atlanta Braves staff, not some guy that just got canned at Taco Tech.
Kranitz is older than Walton at age 66. They need a pitching coach in their 30’s or 40’s.

I just want someone whose body language and body of work shows a desire to win a midweek game and a championship.
Rob did mosey out to the mound at times like he had just sparked a fatty in the corner of the dugout. He probably had a bag of Doritos tucked into his hoodie pocket.
