Officiating in college basketball over the last 4-5 years has gotten to be absolutely atrocious. Can officiating become the first AI takeover? So effing bad all the time
And they make wide open shots. It's pretty remarkable.
I'll likely try to make some games with my kids soon. Maybe we can get up there during one of the Christmas break games. It MUST be remarkable - because you just remarked!
J/K - good to have you back. I hope thousands come back with you (and buy tickets)! I bought season tickets the season before Cade because I thought it might be hard to get good seats when he got here. He was amazing - some weren't happy because he wasn't scoring 30 every night, but if you watch a lot of bball you realized he made the right play almost every time, even if his teammates couldn't put the ball in the basket even when they received it in great position. Ironically, I gave up my tickets this year because we haven't been able to make many games the past couple years. But even last season, using mostly portal leftovers, I thought Lutz looked to be a terrific hire. Can't wait to see what this team can do, and looking forward to seeing next year's currently #3 ranked freshman class come in.
A big step for this program will be sending a few guys to the NBA. If Coach can get that done, we'll have a lot more good players who want to come here to learn their trade. If osu basketball was a stock I’d be buying as many shares as possible right now. With the talent on the roster, the signing class coming in, and a coach that can actually coach you are about to see this program become really really solid.
When Sirmons called that technical he was across the floor and another offical right behind/beside Coleman and he didn't blow the whistle. Sometimes officials just look for the opportunity to do it. If he was going to T-up Coleman he should have done it after the dunk when Coleman was running his mouth. Can officiating become the first AI takeover? So effing bad all the time
