OSU vs Iowa Revenge Dual

At first glance this should be a convincing win for us based on recent trending of both teams. However, I spoke to someone today who is a roommate of an OSU wrestler and 149 and 184 are big question marks. He claimed Swiderski is done for the year with an ACL tear so that weight will likely be Hickman or possibly Tagen Jameson who recently started wrestling competively again. Also supposedly Zach Ryder has a broken hand so likely it will be Dopps again at 184. Ryder Block vs. Hickman is at least 3 for them if not more. Ferrari vs. Dopps could be 5 or 6 for them. Giving away those two weights makes our margin for error much smaller. 125, 133 and 165 become crucial matches that we need to win. I honestly hope that was bad information I received but my impression was that it was not.

Yes...and we may not be dealing with Ferrari. Depending on who they send, Dopps may breakthrough......always hope...or at least keep it to 3 for the prairie chickens

If Dopps pulled it off, I will be leaping off my couch! The kid is a gamer, he just doesn’t have a ton of offense. He needs to let it all hang out in this last dual match of his career. I would love to see him go out with a win against Iowa!

I know Hickman is a young promising prospect, but I’d love to see Tagen wrestling at 149 for this dual!
