I think we always knew this year would be tough. I did not expect to see the Big Dance or a 20-game season. But I did expect -- and do expect -- to see a well-coached team playing good basketball on both ends of the court. That's a reasonable expectation. We have shown we can do it for minutes at a time. We need to work on playing well all 40.

That game went how it should have. The kids competed. We would need an off night from UA to stay close, and it was quite the opposite.

Lutz has to adjust his defensive scheme to his talent. Good teams are going to light up the Cowboys if they continue to attempt to play extended pressure d. He just doesn’t have the horses in the stable to do this. Back them off coach and recruit what you need to defend the way you want.

Arizona is not that good. Not even close. Arizona lost by an average of 20-ish points against the top 25 teams they've played. Click on link and look at Arizona's schedule. Arizona will not win many more games. Prior to the start of the season UA was ranked in the top 25 based on last year's performance. This season is completely different... nowhere near the same team as last year's.
