I’ve had three different relative play up there. One likes him, his brother hates him and their dad doesn’t like Josh much. The last one to play there wouldn’t spit on Josh’s ass if his intestines were on fire and his dad would pour gas on the fire.

Do you mind sharing why they don’t like Josh? Not asking for anything specific enough to identify anyone, but more general reasons.

I can't speak for them, but I know a former player who just said "he's an ass." Granted this kid only played at OSU 1 year, barely played, and transferred.

Thanks COB. I don’t hear a lot about Holiday from former players. Contrast that to Sutton’s former players who speak glowingly of him when they get the opportunity.

Much better played game tonight by the Cowboys. TH mentioned in the pre-game radio broadcast some of the freshmen were getting a chance to start due to the poor play by some of the older players. I would say they took advantage of the opportunity.

Thanks COB. I don’t hear a lot about Holiday from former players. Contrast that to Sutton’s former players who speak glowingly of him when they get the opportunity.

I will say, just in the interest of fairness, Roc Riggio's dad posted something last year about Josh being a "great leader of men." FWIW.

Promises everything, delivers nothing. Gets it in his head someone will play and competition is over. The term untruthful has been used, but I would hope it’s selective memory on my relatives part.

I was thrilled when Josh got this job and especially after we went to Omaha in 2016. I wish for nothing but success for him but how long do we let this keep going. This is a much longer period of total irrelevance and disappointment than Gundy ever had. Mike was in the Big 12 title game less than a year and a half before his mid-season dismissal. How long do we let this continuous erosion of our baseball program continue before we make a change? At this point nobody besides us (fans) remembers we were once an elite program. We used to NEVER lose to OU and now they have not only owned us recently but toyed with us and thoroughly embarrassed us the way we used to do to them!

How many think Josh doesn’t finish this season? Of those who think he does, how many think he will be the coach next season?
I can’t see donors being enthused about contributing to what is going on with our program and if you don’t have the money, you have no chance!

Totally agree. I’ll only add the only way he will be fired this year if he doesn’t make a regional. IMO virtually no chance he will be fired mid season as he could win the big 12 tournament to get a regional bid. However, barring he makes a regional this season but doesn’t advance, I bet next year will be super regional or he’s let go.

I think Essex is going to be a player. I love the contact at the plate and the kid can flat out fly.
