The similarities to how Gundy burned down the program on the way out is astounding. Josh has been here 14 years now and going nowhere fast. However, one thing Josh has done well is get players drafted. I wonder how much former players that played for Josh contribute financially to the program? That may be the only leverage Josh has on Weiberg to not fire him this year.

It is a very close parallel.
The only difference I see is that Mike at least built the program into a consistent winner while Josh has led one of the all time great programs to consistent mediocrity.

I’ve had three different relative play up there. One likes him, his brother hates him and their dad doesn’t like Josh much. The last one to play there wouldn’t spit on Josh’s ass if his intestines were on fire and his dad would pour gas on the fire.
