OSU @ Grand Canyon (4 game series)

JH postgame:

"No moral victories.
We have to compete fiercely every pitch. That's in our DNA.
That wasn't on display enough, pure and simple"

"Parker is a freshman. But he's been nervous..."

"We get it to 3-3...and we have to find ways to outlast them until we get a groove on the mound."

"Too little too late on offense, too many strikeouts, again."

" Garrett struck out on the same pitch every time, so did Kollin."

"You've got to say 'that's not good enough, how do we get better?'"

"Not sharp on the mound, not fine tuned, it's frustrating."

"We have to own it, no BS excuses..."

😆😆😆

Is that some form of accountability I smell??

Where is the moral victory? They did nothing in the game to shine. Hate to tell you Coach, fighting every pitch is not and has not been in your team’s DNA for quite sometime.

Actually quite refreshing. Let’s see if it holds

Maybe if he’s serious about fighting for every pitch, he first ought to make a phone call to his old coach, the master of that philosophy, and have him come down and do some teaching.

However, I tend to think it’s all blow and no go with Josh.

The similarities to how Gundy burned down the program on the way out is astounding. Josh has been here 14 years now and going nowhere fast. However, one thing Josh has done well is get players drafted. I wonder how much former players that played for Josh contribute financially to the program? That may be the only leverage Josh has on Weiberg to not fire him this year.
