OSU at Utah

FTs: Utah was 16-24 and OSU was 9-13. 13 free throws and Utah was fouling for the last two minutes of the games. Glad they could gut out some terrible officiating.

Lutz postgame

"We started the game well, but then had a lull. We've got to quit doing that."

"Defensive rotation was better in the first half, wasn't as great in the second half."

"We started being less aggressive on ball screens and the helped us in not having to rotate as much."

"(On Roy) we need him to have a good balance of shooting open 3's and getting to the rim."

"Christian brought consistent effort and energy, and had a lot of rebounds. He also probably had 10 deflections."

"I happy for these guys. They've continued to practice hard, get better."

Next two games are brutal but some winnable games in February. Go 5-3 in February that puts us at 8-8 in conference and firmly on the bubble. Just need a win over a ranked win. As bad as the last few weeks has been everything they want is still out there

I am actually stunned how poorly we play when another team screen us, both on-ball and off-ball. Our poor decision are often just mind boggling, often leaving shooter so open they have time to write their Aunt Helen a letter before shooting the ball. Tom Izzo's mom could have scored on us. How can this be the case this late in the season?

Oh yeah. GREAT WIN!!!
