Colorado R10 Game

Dang, I’m not going to be there so no crowd pics from me. Maybe someone else will provide them.
Sorry I just saw this. Lower bowl was 85% full. Student bleachers were full. Upper south was empty except band. Upper North was probably 60% full. Both upper sides were maybe 40-50%.

If I had to guess 7500. Not bad for an average team playing another average team on a cold day.

It was a good game. Fun to see a conference win.

If these refs worked Houston vs Iowa St there would be no players left and the game would take 4 hours.

I hope I see the day again when GIA is filled and rocking.
I've never experienced such mythical greatness as I did during my OSU years. For good reasons, and one horrible reason.

It was the overtime game vs Durant led Texas game. I couldn't hear my brother and friends to the seat to the right and to the left. We had to literally scream in each other's ears to hear the words.
That arena was rocking, baby. The richter scale measured 10.0 magnitude. A tidal wave engulfed the entire mid-west. It was glorious.

The unbelievable shot by Byron Eaton. The crowd roared something ferocious. An F-5 tornado formed by the air exhaling from the mouths of everyone in the arena. It was the shot that forced overtime. It was beautiful.

On the other hand....

I arrived home experiencing ringing in my ears. It happened before and so it didn't bother me. The next morning the ringing was ever present. Ok, I thought.. no biggie. Then the day after happened. So did the week after. So did the years. To this day I've suffered from the most insanity-causing ringing. I've learned to read lips, because I had no choice. In order to fall asleep, I must have earbuds max volume to fall asleep. Well, that's a lie. I do wear earbuds max volume.. I can only fall asleep after my body becomes utterly exhausted.

Enough of the self-loathing lol. I know no one likes a pity party. It altered my life.. it's pure misery every second I'm awake.

Edit: please forgive any spelling and/or grammatical errors. Will fix when I'm home

I have no idea how to send a DM or I would. If you are interested in how I combat the ringing, shoot me a DM if you know how and I will share.
