Exactly like the Gundy situation. He believes he is "OSU baseball" and will not make any changes without being forced to do so.

The problemo (please note the bilingualism right there) is there’s only one coach that can say that and JH is to prideful to ask him for help

Rob Walton over the years has been outstanding compared to our hitters. Josh doesn’t know how to coach hitting period and doesn’t seem to know how to hire hitting coaches. This is undeniable. It sucks but he has under performed with the best facilities in the nation. OSU baseball deserves better. But he will be back next year and we’ll still be complaining about the hitting woes for the umpteenth year in a row.

This is what blows my mind, how can you have guys like Robin Ventura and Matt Holliday involved in the program and guys can’t hit worth a flip. How could you have two better hitters and have none of that knowledge or skill translate to any players?

Because skill does not translate to coaching. A lot of times the best players are the worst coaches because they don't know how to teach it. They just do it.
