Crandall also gave up a solo home run to make it 3-2 so not sure what your point is here. Meylan is our supposed ace. We aren't going to go very far if she can't figure it out. Shes pitched well so far outside of one pitch.

Coach G has always treated these Clearwater games as more like exhibition games. Especially the pitching. Trying to build confidence. Not going to hindsight 20/20 you and say ha see? But the decision clearly paid off.

It’s early. Hopefully, Ruby gets things straightened out before conference play. I am pleased that we are 3-1 in Clearwater against ranked opponents. We have been pretty good offensively this week.

Don’t know how much it matters, but Wark and Edwards could have given a pretty good scouting report on Meylen.

Regardless of tomorrow coming out of Clearwater with 3 wins is huge considering there were 0 easy games unlike previous years

She is one of the best pitchers in the country. She’s off to a slow start. It happens.
