It’s proven to be a bad hire by Kenny. No development of pitchers at all.

Also, after the Holder conversation, Kenny has made the same mistake with Ruby Meylan he did with the whole team last year. He’s been out there singing her praises, “best we’ve had come through here”, and so on. She’s not earned or lived up to that yet. In her defense, the pressure is all on her not having a reliable #2 that can eat some innings.

On the positive, she does have run support this year. Bats are much improved.

There was so much talk from both of them about how she's "in a better place mentally" will "be unhittable with her new change up" she's "engaged and finally happy" blah blah blah. Holder was right, too much talk and not enough action.

Yes I'm not sure about the Jones' at the plate. Ugly ABs. But they have their spots due to defense.
