Proctor and max knight are two guys that would help this team right now but they didn’t keep them. What makes it worse is they’re instate kids

Yep, will need to win a Big 12 tournament with a new format this year. Not sure if it makes the task more or less likely. Single elimination bracket tournament. Top 4 seeds receive a bye into the quarterfinals, seeds 5-12 have to win 4 games in 4 days. Try to win as many as you can in the remaining conference series to generate some momentum and get as favorable a draw as possible.
Bodendorf and Youngerman will give us a shot to win 2 of the 4 games needed to win the tournament.

I guess one meaning is to not lose so many that you don't qualify for the tournament.

Unfortunately that's still a real possibility. 12 of the 14 make the tournament, bottom 2 are out. Have a little breathing room right now but not enough to feel real safe. Would think going at least 4-5 in the last 3 series would make it in fairly comfortably. Sad that missing the tournament is even a possibility but that's where we're at.

I just don’t see this team winning 4 games in 4 days. Haven’t done it yet this year. Not consistent enough in ANY phase of the game to do that. Will be happy to eat crow if I am wrong.
Max looks like Benge. He plays with that care free moxy that’s contagious and fun to watch as a fan. 2 way guy who has had success both offensively with 12 HRs and on the mound. Several shutout relief appearances and left handed. Anyone know why he left/let go?

I really liked max knight and thought he had a future. You lose those kids and you replace them with Culbertson and Jayson jones?? It don’t make sense to me
