I don’t think it matters. That kind of stuff is or should be family business. A good coach protects his players. He doesn’t throw them under the bus.

Seems like Kstate is just trying to take the opportunity to negotiate a lower buyout, since he’s owed an absurd 18mil, and get rid of him for overall performance issues. No way they would win for cause with those comments alone. They’re just trying to get him to the negotiating table for a reasonable buyout.

Doubtful they are really that offended by those comments and if they are that’s incredibly soft. Saying they don’t deserve to wear the jersey and many won’t be back next year, which is pretty obvious and normal in the NIL era of 1 year contracts.
