You are high as a kite if you see a NCAA Tournament team.If you watched this game and saw anything close to a NCAA Tournament team on the floor, then I don’t know what to tell you.
Sorry, but Ford led us to FIVE NCAA tournament appearances. How many have we had since?Score a big upset or two but then lose a bunch of games you have no business losing, where have we seen that before. The entire Travis Ford and Boynton eras all over again.
None of them successful. What’s it even matter to make it if you get bounced in the first round. Program hasn’t been successful for 20 years.Sorry, but Ford led us to FIVE NCAA tournament appearances. How many have we had since?

I feel like Lutz needs to be on the hot seat next year. What we've seen the last season and a half has been mostly bad. I want to believe he can get it done, but he keeps proving me wrong. It’s been noted before but something about this team is just off. They come in almost every game looking uninspired, they don’t seem to respect or respond to their coach, and they don’t seem like they like each other either.
Oh well, next year will likely be almost an all new roster again. Just based on demeanor I’d bet many of those eligible to come back don’t.
Lutz has us missing Travis Ford…YikesSorry, but Ford led us to FIVE NCAA tournament appearances. How many have we had since?
I did not see the game tonight but listened to it. If it's like other games, it's just old fashioned help defense. You have to be disciplined and smart to do it right. And it requires a lot of effort when the other team swings the ball well.Out of curiosity, does anyone else think the Steve Lutz "system" of swarming to the ball and double teaming everyone, all the time, without exception is really f'ing dumb?
We're dead last in the Big 12 in team defense and it's blindingly obvious why.
I like Lutz, but bro, it's really easy to see how teams are attacking your gimmicky defense every game. Stop blaming the players. Big 12 players know how to wait for the double team and pass to the open man.
