This umpire is bad. That ball was waaay outside. I thought several others were well out as well.

So predictable. We crawl back into the game and the pitching staff pukes, cant throw strikes and let them extend the lead again.

For a team that is I think predicated on hitting the fastball, we are really bad at hitting the fastball. And we take a ton of them down the middle.

Lasalle and Culbertson's ABs are just so bad. Tom is saying what has always been one of my biggest criticisms of Josh's teams. The mental side of baseball is huge and Josh's teams rarely have shown much mental toughness and fortitude. Ironically, his first few teams back were probably the toughest teams he've had. Some of it is surely on the players but when we are looking at 10 years it seems of teams that are weak mentally you wonder how the mental game is being coached in the program.

Don't know that one, but we're now at 322 strikeouts in game 30...but not a damn thing will be done to fix it.

If both Ritchie and Conover are both out, I think that has to be the move. Going to be really hard to win with both Lasalle and Culbertson in the line-up.

When he recruits these giant athletes who throw 98 and hit thr ball a mile, he's recruiting a lot of guys who have only had to make in on talent/skills. They've never been asked to be mentally tough and they sure aren't getting it here.
