So we've managed to ruin whatevever confidence Kutz might have gained from yesterday.

Just play to effing win. Get Edwards out of the 8 hole.

Tried that in game 3 in Norman last year, and Aycock still hasn't been the same. It's a long season, you'll have plenty of chances to get innings for your pitchers.

Bunt single, run scores from first when Davis sails yet another throw, this time to 3rd. Orignal batter ends up at third. Also an error on Edwards, for throwing it home and there was nobody there, allowing the runner to move to third.

Oh he definitely cares…it’s something he talked about in the preseason press conference. Early season loses aren’t the problem. It’s when it’s against bad teams. Either way still unacceptable
 
I know it is only the first weekend, but we are definitely not a top 5 team. Kenny mentioned on the post game last night that the team needs to figure out if it wants to be an elite team or just a good team. We are no longer the hunter but instead the hunted.

Well when you're playing the #12 team in the country and your ace is sitting in the dugout, what message does it send? I've always thought that the last step to take for this program to get over the hump is to ramp up the overall intensity. Maybe this will be a wake up call.

I hear you. However, I am actually more concerned with the offense and lack of continuity. It is feast or famine with the bats. The plate approach has been underwhelming to say the least (No Colorado doesn’t really count). The good news is it is early and the bats typically come around but still disappointing output so far.

lol, don't get me started there. Have we drawn a walk this weekend? (yes, 6 in 25 innings) It's just a free swing hackfest. I'm like Randy Quaid the angry fan in Major League II and they're like Willie Mays Hays showing off the warning track power instead of having good ABs. :LOL:

Where are you hearing a post game? Usually the twitter account posts them but i havent seen one.

Small sample size but thinking OKC streak may come to an end this year. I hope I am wrong but thinking max potential will be Supers. The team needs to play loose and free instead of playing not to lose.

As frustrated as I am, its too early to tell.

We've got Clearwater next, so we'll see if we get any better this week.

I'm just tired of seeing OSU teams play like crap. Will have to keep waiting I guess.
