Before being voted out of office by Oklahoma Republicans, by some miracle Sen. Mullin will have to switch from the issues most important to him with that being pro-God, pro-Gun and anti-Gay, to pro Education, pro Healthcare and pro Infrastructure.

He isn't getting voted out. He's 3 years older than me and as long as those guys hang on there is a fair chance I don't see another senator in his seat in my lifetime.

Follow up .. INSANE STORY

A former Catoosa school teacher is charged with molesting a student who would've been in the 6th grade (13) at the time.

WHO: 27 year old Megan Porter

WHAT THE PROBABLE CAUSE AFFIDAVIT SAYS HAPPENED:
-February 8, 2023, Catoosa Police notified Owasso Police about an incident between a student and a Catoosa teacher, but, said it happened at the teacher's Owasso apartment.
-The child had told a therapist, who notified police.
-The child says Porter groomed and molested the child.
-It says Porter gave the child her email and phone number and they messaged and Porter suggested the child lie to their guardian and claim to be spending the night with a friend, but, Porter actually picked up the child from a skatepark and they went to Porter's apartment where they played video games and watched TV and the molestation took place.

-February 15, 2023: the child was interviewed and said Porter claimed it "wasn't illegal anymore, since the child was no longer Porter's student" and Porter said the student was "one of the most mature kids" Porter had ever met and Porter "wasn't a pedophile since there was no coercion."
-The student reported feeling anxious, awkward and wrong about the situation.
-The child said Porter sent pics of herself doing drugs and pics of her breasts.

-February 22, 2023: Porter's cell phone and school lap top were taken.
-It says Porter had numerous searches about paraphilia, defined as an experience of recurring or intense sexual arousal to atypical objects, places, situations, fantasies, behaviors, or individuals.
-Other searches were about fetishes, and consent vs. coercion.
-Police say the case was sent to the DA's office, but, declined, lacking enough evidence.

-Porter had joined the Air Force after the incident and the Defense Counter Intelligence Security Agency was doing a background check on Porter, since she would have a security clearance.
-January 2025: Porter denied messaging or having sexual contact with the student.
-May, 2025: Porter initially denied it again, but then, admitted to the messages and molestation.
-July 2025: The agency contacted Owasso Police.
-August 7, 2025: prosecutors filed 1 count of lewd molestation.

-This is a charge, not a conviction.

State issue — Are we purposely being dumbed down?

When you walk up to the security line at the Oklahoma City airport there is a guy there checking to see if your ticket says PRECHECK or not. He looks at your ticket then tells you what line to stand in.

The question is why, in this “probusiness” state, does the airport need to add to their operating expenses the salary of a person to tell the public where to stand in line?

To be fair, they do this at most decent sized airports all over the country. Source: I travel a lot.

So does the author of the article who wrote:

"I travel a lot for work. In the last couple of weeks I’ve been through the Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, Fresno, and Des Moines airports.

Of those airports we’re the only airport with a guy standing there telling people which line to stand in. Signs work just fine in all those other airports."

I see it at Minneapolis when I fly out of there. And yeah the signs aren't that complicated. I just assume they are there to keep us poors out of the speedy lane.

It probably reflects a shortage of highway patrol troopers throughout rural Oklahoma. If the Oklahoma Legislature was doing its job, it would provide more funding to deal with the shortage. Oklahoma has $4 billion put away. Hiring 500 new troopers and paying them $100,000 would cost $50 million, not including training. But then it seems that highway patrol troopers aren't very popular with the people, due to the speeding tickets they give out.
