Assuming that Forrest and Vega go up, I think you get following lineup:
125. Spratley
133 Raney
141 Forrest
149 Vega
157 Robideau
165 Rutledge
174 Lockett
184 White
197 Merrell
285 Ross
Can the smaller Raney make 133? Wrestled 145 in HS. If he can, he is in the hunt for a national championship. Maybe another freshman nat champ. In terms of recruiting rankings, Raney and his twin brother were similar to Vega and Robideau. No real reason to expect that they don't perform like Vega and Robideau did.
Given what he he did in HS, one has to think Lockett is a can wrestle. The results were what you would expect if he was cutting too much weight. Strong at first, but weaker as year progressed (think Jamison). Maybe he moves up to 174 and get his grove back. Talent is there, as he did beat the 2nd place finisher at 165 during season.
Rutledge wrestled only a few matches, but one was against Ruiz from ASU that placed 4th at 165. Though Rutledge lost by 1 point, I think he looked like the better wrestler and after his redshirt year should do well.
I think with injury, Ryder has surgery and takes medical redshirt. Means we need White to come in strong. Darkhorse contender is Luke Hamiti, who won state title at 190.
Ross should be stud. Only question is can he put on enough muscle to take advantage of his talent as a true freshman. Look for an AA, and maybe another freshman nat champ.
