I, too, am in Creek County. I grew up on a hill that is common to tributaries of the Cimarron, Deep Fork and Arkansas rivers and I live near that location. I may go moreling next week after it warms up a little.

My property is by the Deep Fork WMA south of the booming metropolis that is Slick Oklahoma. I've been contemplating hitting the WMA to see if there are any on it.

Only found a couple yesterday. I'm thinking the Armadillos are eating them. They have been tearing up the spots where I usually find them.

I can tell you where a good spot is in Sapulpa.Actually they are all along Rock Creek in that area not just where I circled. It's all city property you can go on.

Crossed the creek discovered my boot leaks. It was worth it. Left after filling a bag not a place to be after dark without a headlamp.

Happy I didn't see any cotton mouth while picking. Last time at this spot killed 18 of them
