1) There isn't really any evidence of the Exodus actually having occurred. Taking the passage literally and not as an origin myth is problematic and definitely should not be the starting place of discussion in the 21st century.
2) There is good archaeological evidence of both Israel and Judah as kingdoms, but they were most likely in the region before anyway and actually a subgroup of canaanites themselves.
3) You are glossing over the Jewish diaspora under the Romans big time which is the more pertinent issue here.
4) There is not some super length history of religious based warfare in the region, outside of the crusades. Current hostilities have their roots in the British occupation and primarily starting in 1946. Suggesting they were at war or even active as a political force in the region after the diaspora in 70 AD until the 1940s or "beating people back" is about as inaccurate as one can be.

Religion plays a large factor in what is going on here. I mean, just look at the historical narrative you are trying to push through a religious lens that is wholly inaccurate. Now add several other religious lenses and one can see why it is a mess. Ignore it at your own peril.

1. This is why I refrained from using the term exodus...you are correct there is no archeological evidence, hence why I didn't say they were enslaved either. I did point to the oldest piece of archeological evidence that mentions Israel ever found...and it was found in Egypt and spoke of a people who had a conflict with Pharaoh. Most likely these nomads migrated north over a couple of generations (ie 40 years)..not a single mass exodus

2 there is good evidence the tribes mixed with Canaanites and Judah didn't exist until ~1300 bce or iron age....about the same time the nomadic Israelites settle in modern israel

3. This conflict was 1300+ years old when Rome happened and Rome was about God proving his existence to the world...not the Israelites...they already knew he was real ....point being the only people that didn't get the message God was real through Christ was the .... Israelites!!! That was a message not for them but the world.....mission accomplished so we'll to the point the country that put the religious figure head to death would eventually adopt that very religion and become the world wide. Capitol of the religion...pretty sure this is the only documented case of that ever being a thing

4 this isn't religious based warfare at all that was my whole point but many have been drilled into their head this is all about religion..it isn't... religion just became the common denominator that set the Jewish people apart from. Everyone else in the area...language and religion..

1. There isnt evidence of that, it is a guess based off of a religous text and is not supported by evidence.
2. No. I am not sure were you are getting this information.
3. This is a religous take on historial events. Something you just disavowed in two previous posts. Also, not particularly accurate as once the kingdom of Israel was formed, their attention turned to other regional powers. The narrative that the jews and palestinians have always been at war for thousands of years is based on an agenda and does not hold up under scrutiny.
4. No. Its about religion and ethnicity at least since the 1940s.

So in a thread about Israel where you and I are talking about leadership your 1st inclination to solve the massive problem that stated millennia before the US existed your answer to solving the Israeli problems is to “secure our own border.”

You list talking points. What exactly would you do to lead and solve this problem? Rx starts a thread the morning after our football games that I love to read. It’s basically morning after QB. It’s easy to lob vague criticisms like “we need good leadership” but what concrete would you do to “stop funding terrorists” and what does that even mean? Stop being a partisan for a hot sec and list out what and why.

More important, the U.S. also throttled back enforcement of oil sanctions, which gave Tehran billions more dollars to finance Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist proxies. Iran’s oil production jumped to three million barrels a day in August from 2.6 million in April, according to Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries data.

Iran’s oil minister said in August the country’s oil production would hit 3.4 million barrels a day by the end of September, the highest since 2018 when the Trump Administration imposed sanctions. Its exports have increased even more—by about one million barrels a day this year—because it has also been shipping stored fuel, namely to China.

Fathom that: Iran has ramped up oil production at a faster rate than the U.S. as the Biden Administration turned a blind eye to its sanctions circumvention. Iran’s production surge occurred mostly over the summer as the Administration sought to strike a new nuclear deal with Tehran and counter rising U.S. gasoline prices.

The White House might say that this is necessary so Russia wouldn’t benefit from rising oil prices amid its agreement with Saudi Arabia to curtail production. But the Saudis scaled back production in part because of Iran’s growing exports, and Russia is benefiting anyway from higher oil prices by dodging the G-7’s price cap on its exports.

It’s fair to ask if the Administration has let Iran and Russia evade sanctions because it doesn’t want to be blamed for higher gas prices as it continues to add regulations to limit U.S. production. In any case, Tehran isn’t using the $30 billion to $40 billion it has generated from oil exports this year to buy food and medicine. It’s been arming Israel’s enemies and supporting Russia’s war machine as they seek to destroy America’s allies.
