BREAKING via the Financial Times

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has put his cabinet on alert for a possible US attack on Iran, just 24 hours after insisting Donald Trump had given no indication he was about to “get involved in this conflict”.

British officials said the situation was “grave and volatile”, while the prime minister’s team discussed whether the president might seek to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities from the joint US-UK air base at Diego Garcia.

Senator Jeff Merkley just called Trump out for leading US into this mess with Iran by backing out of Obama's nuclear deal (the JCPOA).
Under the nuclear deal, Iran was only able to enrich Uranium to 3.67%. Now it's believed they've reach levels of 60% which is only stops away from levels needed for a nuclear weapon. The deal also allowed inspectors in. But Trump backed out because he said he'd get a "better deal." He never did!

To be fair, the last admin (who she was part of) was fairly supportive of Isreal. There is no way to know what her Admin would have done here.
