As steross said, without the denominator what you've done is useless because there is no way to tell the frequency and therefore no way to tell whether or not to be concerned about it. You've made an appeal to emotion.

I provided the homicide numbers from Texas who seems to be the only state that keeps those stats. Now you're the one not using denominators with your stats.
And the "but" means just what he said, percentages so low he can't worry about it.

Immigrants are conservative people by a significant margin. All republicans would need to do to have a conservative majority in the country is to drop the racism and the reactionary immigration enforcement. Have you asked yourself why they won't drop the racism?
