As for the current day care funding fraud, it's currently under federal investigation.

It's been under investigation for years (since at least 2022) and people have already been convicted and gone to prison over it. The only reason it turned into a national issue was to distract from the Epstein files.
We seem to be doing a really good job of finding distractions from that lately.

Over 15,000 non-citizens on the non-detained docket have murder convictions.
Over 20,000 non-citizens on the non-detained docket have sexual assault convictions.
625,000+ non-citizens with criminal convictions or pending charges are currently not in custody.
That being said. There are 330 million people in the United States. I'd estimate 20 million undocumented immigrants.
When you put those numbers at scale. It truly is a blip.

Oh I agree. Ive seen it with the protests where someone will do something intentionally inflammatory and walk away. It's a thing and for the most part protesters have done a good job policing this behavior and keeping from escalating to the level some want.

It is impressive. Organizing on the left is a lot more grassroots than organizing on the right, which is generally much more top down. Our previous experience was an anomaly.

Seriously though, if ICE was only going after violent criminals and not trampling on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Amendments, I believe the majority of Americans would be in favor of it. Unfortunately, that is not what is happening.
My thoughts are:
-I don't give credence to "internet rumors" or click bait "framing" of rumors one way or the other. I prefer to deal with facts rather than things "floating around on social media". I haven't seen any of it and if I did, I'd probably dismiss it until there a facts and proof being provided.
-Whether or not illegal conduct is occurring would be wholly dependent on what was actually proven with.....facts....which we have none of right now.
I don't know that they have a frontrunner at this point. Two of the biggest names are a doctor that ran last time on anti vaccine stuff and the My Pillow guy. I think one of the higher ups in the legislature will get the nomination. That guy I hadn't heard of so I doubt he had much of a shot. Also that goes to propoganda from either side-some no name makes a principled stand. Good for him but it wasn't going to influence anything to the point where it should have made the headlines that it did.
Not that it matters much. The state republican party is in such disarray right now so between that and the killing of protesters I don't think it will be a super competitive election.
And has been for quite some time back into the Biden administration.
