I thought it was funny but looking at Facebook it's pretty true. I can definitely find a correlation between people who weren't the brightest bulbs back in the day and those who are definitely pretty happy with the election results.
Also correlation means two things are alike. I could give a better definition but if I use bigger words it won't help.

Exactly. I actually just posted something on the Presidential Election thread that Ari Melber is talking about on MSNBC. He is admonishing Dems for looking down their nose on the working class. Bernie Sanders tweeted something out similar to that as well today.
That only works if the morality police looks the other way. Remember the same people overlooking this were appalled at who Harris dated early in her career.

That being said I don't have an answer about how to change people's minds that were already made up. For a portion of the population it doesn't matter what's really going on. If you convince them that their protected civil liberties and economic security are at stake, no amount of evidence that it isn't real will convince them otherwise. I'm joking about the education level as there are many people I consider intelligent who fell victim to this mindset as well.
You combine that with the quality of candidates which was discussed on the other thread and we get what we get.
Yeah, that doesn’t sound condescending or elitist at. Trump won the popular vote, the electoral vote, and the Republicans won control of the House and Senate. At what point does it occur to you that many if not most people think you’re wrong? That can’t be it right? Just a bunch of uneducated ignorant rubes that need you to tell them what is best for them. 95% of the coverage of Trump from MSM was negative and he still won. Probably because his unwashed, Nazi, garbage, racist, supporters can’t afford a tv and most of them can’t read. I’ve always found that right after getting an ass kicking for being a dumbazz the best plan is to double and then triple down on being a dumbazz. It can’t possibly be you right?
