FBI Executing Search Warrant on Georgia Election Headquarters over 2020 Election

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says he does not support President Trump’s proposal for Republicans to “take over” voting procedures in more than a dozen states and “nationalize” the midterm elections, declaring Trump’s call to action as blatantly unconstitutional. https://trib.al/a7ZVdzG

Cool.

Follow up:

Senator, what exactly do you plan to do about it?

I get really, really tired of comments like that from elected officials. They are in a position to actually do something about it, not make some comment anyone can make on social media.

I call it the Chuck Schumer special.

Yep. It's one thing for us over here in the peanut gallery to say this is wrong. It's another for someone who actually has the power to do something about it to go full thoughts and prayers. And then go out and only vote his "conscious" when he knows whatever it is that people are concerned about is going to pass or fail regardless of what he does.

I still think Paul isn't totally useless as a senator but Im finding less use for the people who aren't 100% lock step with their party every day now.

I'll admit it.

I fell for Tulsi Gabbard's good looks and her campaign talk in 2019-2020.

She's an embarrassment and is little more than Trump's janitor.

She portrayed herself as a Maverick. She's more of a Goose.

I'm bummed to admit I was wrong. But I was clearly wrong.

A comment is perfect. You get to virtue signal. You get some campaign money from those that agree. And, you really aren't putting yourself out there for real conflict.

Now, to DO something. That is a real risk. And NONE of these scum want to risk their lofty positions.

That's a hard thing for people to do. I commend you for admitting when you were wrong.

Well…it was also a hard thing when I was checking her out…

President Trump again shifted explanations of why Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was at a controversial FBI search of a Georgia election office where 2020 ballots were seized amid his continuing false claims of voter fraud.

Trump's claim that Pam Bondi wanted Tulsi Gabbard to be present at the Fulton County, Georgia election raid was the fourth different explanation the administration offered this week.

Emails from her office say Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen handed over confidential voter data to the U.S. Department of Justice, which has asked the state to remove, upon demand, any voters who may be deemed ineligible by federal officials. https://bit.ly/3NVobS1

Q: Bannon recently said 'we're gonna have ICE surround the polls come November.' Is that something the president is considering?

LEAVITT: I can't guarantee an ICE agent won't be around a polling location, but what I can tell you is I haven't heard the president discuss any formal plans

18 U.S. Code § 592 makes it a crime punishable by 5 years in prison to deploy federal troops to polling places

The Department of Education said it is investigating reports that Tufts University and an education group shared confidential student data with political organizations to try to influence elections.

CNN: You said Trump supports that Gabbard was in Fulton County, but last night he said he didn't know why she was there. Can you clarify?

LEAVITT: Election security is essential to national security. We need to ensure our elections are free and fair.

(Note that this is not an answer!)
